What a beautiful begonia, I love the color and shades, and looks like the rain blessed the flower on this day, I like seeing the rain drops up on the flower,I think it is a sharp picture because I can see the veins in the flower, I think this is perfect. 7

Hiya Janet, I am using the Pro1 less and less these days in favour of the 350D but as I remember it this shot was taken in high res., manual and in excellent conditions. So, done in close-up and not using the macro feature on the Pro1. Hope this is helpful to you my love. I do like the Pro1, the viewing screen is most useful, the only reason I bought the 350D (Rebel) was to improve on macros and gain the better response time in capturing facial expressions. Amazing clarity and color!
Any tips with the Pro1 you'd care to share? Do you shoot in manual with it? I have this camera and love it for macros, but seem to lack the color and focus you have.
I am turning green with envy!!!

This is a great creative flower shot, you choose your composition well, love the water droplets and the cool look this conveys, but the lovely yellows still prevail!

Wow, Ray, this is what they call tactile! I can almost feel those wet, spiky leaves. And visually it's quite splendid. A level for me to aim for... (I appreciate it when you name the flowers, as I am terribly ignorant about them--but I know what I like! )

Beautiful! When ever I go out on an overcast day I forget to take my "rain" with me. Maybe I will just leave off taking pictures of rain covered flowers to those that do it so well, just like this one.
