Hello Paul, I use a Epson 4870 and for me is fine. Good for 6x6, 6x12 and 4x5" . Unfortunately not so good for 24x36 (due to the curve of the film, not the scanner.
Thanks so much for your comment. That's exactly what I found about this subject when I first discovered it... at first it looks messy and chaotic, but when you really look it is, in its own way, composed and organized. It was taken on the shores of Lake Ontario after a thunderstorm, and all sorts of things had washed up on the beach. The image you see there is just a scan of my print, as I haven't found a satisfactory scanner for my negatives yet. I had a look through your portfolio....truly excellent work. I look forward to more.
Wow, great shot and excellent control of tones. It seem messy but at the end there's also a good composition with the wires in the diagonal. Unfortunately the video screen doesn't give the right effect in the tumbnail. Great
