How do you trip the trap to fire the flash?
Also notice it appears that the flash is fired by disconnecting the circuit to the flash.... how is that done?

I love this series of action sequence shots. They are fascinating as well as entertaining. Did you ahve to secure the left half (as we see it) of the tomato so it wouldn't fly off the trap or did it just slice right through there cleanly? I've never seen photography quite like this. I like everything about the three photos and their arrangement except the white bars between the pairs. I think eliminating those would do no harm and might even enhance the photos. Nice work!
