Good crisp image, Dave. Some sky detail makes a nice contrast - so it was worth trying the "earlier" approach.

This is the type of picture I wanted to capture during my night trip out. Wonderfully done. Great sharp image. The skys look great with the blue cast still too it. I like this look better than the dark black sky. Hmmm... Good idea with a earlier shot. Well done.

Good idea. I like it better when the sky isn't completely dark. It's tricky to choose the right time so the lights aren't overexposed but the sky is exposed enough. I think you did very well indeed.

REally nice Dave, Man the city has changed since I was last there. I have to make a trip up there again. last time after 2 weeks in Flin Flon I got back to Minnesota and had all my camera stuff swipped before I got home. The idea of shooting with some light left is a good one. I think later, with a longer exposure the sky turns a lot darker ?? But still kinda blue ?
