Ok since everyone is calling me an evil pet owner.. ;).. I did give him the ball. And he was very coopertive about the whole photo shoot. He knows its all in the name of photography. Thanks for all the wonderful comments!

Great use of the out-of-focus ball in the foreground to so perfectly tell the story. No explanation was needed; the moment I saw it I realized this innocent was being manipulated by a heartless person. ;)
