I love the submuted, misty atmosphere of this "Melody", Ricardo. I thank you for adding me to your friends' list and have already reciprocated. Thank you also for your generous words about my portfolio and especialy my "Palm grove." It is only recently that I started to use photoshop more intensely and it's great fun. Of course yuo can't see all my photos at once. Neither can I yours, but I hope that in time we become better acquainted with each other and with each othere's photos.
Best regards,
Rafi

hi Carsten! thank you for the kind comment! well, part of the merit is yours indeed, for i have used the technique of layers i have learned from your notes. i used the "brightness/contrast tool" for enhancing the overall clarity, then created a new layer with the "lighting effects tool" for getting the shadowy areas, then erased just its central part in order to open a window for the underlaying bright layer. just that.

regards!

Very nice lighting effect (let me guess, kind of vignette or burning ?). Wonderful landscape !

Cheers

Carsten
