focusing was a toddle, it was very bright so depth of field was easy to acquire and its shot at a 400ISO and the camera locks onto flocks of birds very quickly, erratic birds would be more difficult. I must start doing more work with flocks, did you see that the wildlife photographer of the year won his prize by shooting (with a camera ;) starlings over Rome?
