I like the pattern, and the lone tree - what did it look like in colour?

Hmmm. The Nikon D100 is a good camera, but I trust you kept your Mamiya 7II! This is a fine landscape but it has something of the look of over-sharpening. Forgive me for saying I don't think it is up to the standard you were producing with your MF film camera, but I am sure it is only a matter of time before you master this new tool and I look forward eagerly to see the results! Please keep posting!!

I like this photo it brings a lot of memories. Except nostalgic value the shot is well executed and well thought in my opinion. The pattern of these drying cones is skillfully counterbalanced by the tall lonely tree on the horizon. The uncut plants in the foreground are also important part of this shot. Very good detail in the sky, confirms Your good exposure control. Very good job for a midday landscape.
