Hi John, thanks for your comment! I'm not sure if there is actually a clear story, other than observing the incomprehensible from within a rigid framework; the horse is the unencumbered element, going in and out of the picture as he pleases, leaving me, the observer within my framework and you, the outside observer from within your framework wondering. We are both looking at the horse and at each other, not necessarily making sense of either. I guess that's one explanation :)

Tower of Babel as a fading wall poster + the strong vetical members of a bridge reaching into the sky [romanticism?] + a type of horse I don't see at the Track + you as narrator ......... hmmmmmmm ........... an interesting assemblage, if not a story.
And the rendering is a stunner...... clear and sharp and powerful ..... super realism. I like this one!!!

This is extraordinary. It's done perfectly, seamlessly. Perhaps a commentary on the progress of civilization and technology. No, just technology.

Ina, the picture is thick and creamy of content, a big story written in many languages. It's obvious very complex personal expresion, a very poetic one with many imaginary layers indeed. At my best I can mayby grasp a couple first verses only. Long reading to get it all. Cheers, n.j

Thanks Brian :) It's the same horse as in one of my older pictures on UF - entitled "Unicorn." As for my self-portrait, it's the same one as in all my previous self-portraits.

Without any rational connection, these elements project just pure feeling. It's magic, and very powerful magic too. And there you are, surveying your creations. Magnificent.

Hi Ina, I well understand what you say about enjoying the post processing as much as doing the photography. I enjoy it too. In your case the creativity you bring to this work goes beyond simple "processing". You use it to transform the shots into somethign else. Great work!

Hi Endre, and thanks :) As I said to Mark, I'm re-utilizing my pictures in collages. I find it a good way to use my huge archive, and enjoy the wonders of photoshop at the same time.

Thanks for your nice comment Mark, I'm sorry I've been late with my comments, as I usually "disappear" on weekends. I think I've found a good way to utilize some of my images which don't stand on their own, by collaging them. Together they are becoming something else. I have to admit I like processing my pictures as much as I like taking them :)

Another facinating collage and self-portrait. Very well carried out! The horse is an entirely unexpected object in this setting, great job. I also like the abstract nature to this. It feels more assembled from disparate parts than some of the others and I like that aspect of it. Great work, Ina, showing excellent imagination and originality!
