About The Erie Canal wends its way through Central New York and offers many trails and interesting place for photography. I took this shot earlier this autumn. I was just assembling my gear when a pack of bicyclists rushed by me on both sides. By the time I had regained my composure they were a ways down the trail. I took this shot in frustration. Sometimes those grab shots are the best.

Actual exposure f/8 @ 1/200

Sounds like Tennessee. Just as your going to take a shot, there's someone on the car bumper, or stops in your shot, or SOMETHING. But sometimes it can work out. This shot is still really good!

F/8 exposure i think it works with lot of lens
For me i think is the sweet spot on the aperture.

This image is light, light and light. I can feel the coolness of the shadow while the sun lights get entangled in thousand different tones among the three leaves. A slendid mood an feeling.
Bravo. Cheers,

Giuseppe

Such a very beautiful, calming, tranquil small road, with trees on both of its sides. The fallen leaves on the road are great too. Nice composition and color.

This isc a pretty Autumn shot. It has a gentle peaceful feeling but I guess it was not all the gentle at that moment. The arch of trees is lovely.

The composition here is just fine Jim, I like it and you are right, sometimes the second we hesitate to take a picture comes out to be the best, But there is one minor thing in here, I think you over sharpened the trees, it looks a little artificial to me, beside that, it is jut great, Cheers,

Really a beautiful image!
The trees foliage is so warm and rich that appears as a scene drape.
Nice perspective with central end point in the lower part.
The vivid colours of bikers invite us to follow them and to focus our glance to reach them. Sincerely compliments.

A really neat shot, Jim. An arboreal tunnel that's perfectly balanced, with terrific color and depth. The cyclists really do feel like they are racing out of the tunnel. Very, very nice!

LOL...loved reading your 'about'!

Well, if taken in total frustration, it sure turned out well! I like the bold centering.

I'm thinking it would also look good even with a lower camera position.

Very nice image, good composition,
lori :)

Centering here is very effective!
