About: Until I bought a digital camera, I was the world's worst photographer- and I mean really bad. I started using a Fuji point and shoot and graduated via a Canon Powershot s30 to a Canon Powershot Pro 1. I'm reluctant to go down the SLR route as I don't want to get into too much equipment. I like to be able to take my camera everywhere and tend to shoot lots of images from which I can select the ones worth keeping. I think this ability to take lots of photos and immediately see what works and what doesn't is what I find most helpful about digital work. I also enjoy the digital manipulation which takes me back to my childhood when I used to develop and print photos from my Kodak brownie camera in the cupboard under the stairs!
