About: Professional jazz musician for 30 years, I'm interested in photography as an expressive and creative medium. Have a fairly decent background in other visual arts and art in general. My favorite photogs are William Eggleston, William Christenberry, Walker Evans, Friedlander, and others generally of that ilk. (not too sure what ilk is, are you?) Anyway, while many consider themselves serious amateurs, I prefer to think of myself as 'seriously amateur' and use photography as a tool to explore my world and, more importantly, have fun.
