My Name is Orlando Oliveira I am 27 years old. I was born and raised in Newark N.J. but my home is now in Nutley NJ where I live with my beautiful wife. I fell for photography several years ago during a visit to Ground Zero in New York City. While I was there, I took some photographs of my surroundings, but it was not until I reviewed my proofs that I understood the power of photographs to express emotion and to tell a story. Since that day I seek-and find-inspiration in people, places, objects and nature. In much the same way an artist uses his brush, a photographer uses his camera as a tool to capture his unique perspective of the world around him. Through the medium of photography I strive to document a single moment that will tell an entire story. It could be an exceptional, once-in-a-lifetime story, or it could be a story of everyday life-it could even be your story.
