Very nice natural portrait with good light.
Have you considered a square crop? I find the tree a bit distracting. A square crop makes it even more intimate, I think.

Hi Luke! It's been a while... :-)
I looked a your last 3 flower girls and think you did a great job! She's so pretty! The light on this one is much better than in the first one. I know it's not easy, specially with a 'moving object like a child!!! There's one thing though (I hope you don't mind me saying this): I wish the flower in her hair wasn't cut off.

This was made in my (very small) studio. When I want a white background I use a very large sheet of drawingpaper. When I need a black background I use black velvet.

Hi Kate, like you I love to photograph flowers.
I love the way you use shallow DOF and details in your flowershots. As for this image I'ld prefer a different composition. The focus is now on the top left corner. Maybe a different crop would have helped too.
