Very delicate and great colours. There seems to be a softness to the focussing. Was that intentional. Whatever, it works very well.

I agree, bottom right is distracting, ditto the bright white blob under the orange flower. Not sure if any crop would have worked, but (I suspect) a separate shot of just the pink&white flower would have proved better. Sorry, somewhat negative there (but it's your fault for generally putting such good shots out!).

Thanks for your comments on my 'leaves'. This is my favourite of your recenet uploads. Unusual but effective viewpoint and good use of B&W. Very nicely done.

New camera Stuart? If so, you have quickly learned how to use it! Very nice shot; my favourite of your robin shots. The sharpness and colours are very good indeed.

Ayah, you were kind enough to review one of my images, so here I am. You also asked that I teach you how to use the G3; you do yourself an injustice. This is a very nice close up shot. If you had had just a little more depth of field, getting the front right leg and nose feeler (things) into focus, this would have been a great shot. I know, hard to do. Still very nice.

Hair could do with a trim and some styling, but other than that a great photo Stuart. The eyes are expressive, detail and colouring just right. I'm hoping you had a good telephoto lense here.

The DOF on the head is great, but I would have preferred the whole beak be in focus as well. Minor nit. Nice close-up shot.

Hello Stuart; it's been a while and you've been busy as ever. This is my favourite of your last batch of uploads. Even without the beak tip, or perhaps because of it, I think this is a great shot. I like the eye and the almost translucent orange colouring of the main part of the beak. Good job.

The composition is very nice, and the foreground is great but the background, as you and others have noted, is quite fuzzed. Still, if you just look to the front, I like this shot.

I like the hair style! As others have said, the sharpness is a little off. I have noticed that my telephoto adaptor always shows a similar fuzzyness (different cemara -- Canon G3) no matter what I do. Like here, it is not horrendous, just not as sharp as the camera's own lense. Could the same the thing here. Also, nice idea having him off to the side like that.

I liked the water and the boats here. Don't mind the amount of water as much as Matej (yep, it's all subective) as it gives an alone on the high seas feel. However, the flat & somewhat noisy sky detracts from the overall effect. Even with that, it is still a very nice photo.

You certainly have variety in your photo's, which is a good thing. Not sure I understood the shake idea of the pea-pods (but that's my failing I'm sure). Like this one though. Nice choice of compositon & the image brings back good memories of being on English beaches with those huts. Good job.

I think this worked very well. An image that keeps your attention. I wonder if it is better of worse for the flaws in the marbles and if totally smooth/shiny would hae been better/worse?
But you know, with your recent upload, I'm now wondering if you started with a straight, flat photo of yourself and created all of the ball effects in photoshop??

Nice Stuart. My first thought was that it is a little over sharperened. The edges in the middle red bit (excuse me dropping into the technical flower terms) seem, well, too well defined and what I see when I try to push the sharpen lever too far. That said, it's a very cool look into this inner world. And without a tripod to boot (unless, of coures, this was an 8 foot tall plant??).

Yes, the frog was on my daughters hand. Little so-and-so (the frog that is) kept jumping off, as they are want to do. That and it was smaller than a quarter (about a pound coin), I was pleased to get anything in focus.
