Excellent Gary, The long exposure has blurred the reflections in the water nicely and contrasts well with the sharpness of the buildings. Great tones too. Love it. Miles

I love the subject matter here Gary. And I am always nervous of giving advice to anyone who uses a Wisner 8X10. However on my monitor the floor in this picture is too bright and I can just barely make out the texture of the flagstone floor. If the whole image was just a shade darker it might just be more atmospheric.
Having said that, I am not sure what a platinum photographic print is.
Look forward to seeing more from that Wisner Miles

Nice baby and good photo, and your converstion to B&W is good. Your own comment about the focus is probably valid but there is a small dark object just over the baby's head which tends to draw my eye up as well.
However, I do feel your friend is very pleased with this portrait. Well done.

Fits the project really well. Good timing on the capture. It is a decisive moment. The idea is a good one which might be improved with a different angle of view which took the featurelss white sky out of the picture. But really good effort Miles

Love pictures of trees in the first place. However this picture is more than just at tree... it conjures up a beautiful mood of silence and peacefullness.

I've never tried anything like this (photographing it that is) so have to be careful. Main two things I would change is to get rid of the two reflections in the wine glass and secondly to I would like to be able to see the wine label. Mostly I would agree with everything Lass said and in addition I would use a cheese board instead of plates and and knife with a wooden handle instead of plastic. Keep the cork in the picture but not cropped in half.
PS ten outta ten for healthy eating
