I love door way shots. I have a canon 10-22mm lens that produces very similar photos, using a 300D as well. Personally I wouldnt have gone for the wide angle approach, because the most interesting part for me is the colours, therefore I would have gone close up with a macro is a normal 35mm - 50mm lens and concentrated on an area in intense detail.

Great contrast between the flower and the snow. I wish you used smaller aperture to make the backward leaves more in focus.

this storm hit Canberra early december last year, it killed one man and destroyed many houses. I will never forget that day. and they say that Canberra doesnt have tornados!

Hello, did you use a special lens? The door appears to be bulging near the center of the image. The light was a tad bright, created some hot spots on the metal.

i like this abstract... well balanced between the light blue of the sky and the shadow beneath the "tin curtain"... the vivid colors and textures of the material itself complement its wavy pattern... um, except for the light spot on the corner i think it is a nicely composed image... regards...
