Hi Gary, this is about your comment at
http://www.usefilm.com/image/1607717.html
first I want to thank you for your high sense of responsibility,
second I want to clarify the story behind the image,it was shot by my kid.
that sticks shown in the image are my pot fertilizers sticks, they are in fact nonflammable I have just tried to burn one but unsuccessful ,and that match box,we use it to flame a barbecue wood coal in our garden at Fridays, the whole image stage in fact is at our garden,my kid have just noticed the match pox near the fertilizers sticks ,he took the image and give it the proper title I guess, he is trying to say Warning ,do not put the fuel near the matches ,that is dangerous.(in Iraq we have high sensitivity to such issue because the war out in the streets).
with his bad English,he does not understand your first comment and intension when you said that is not funny.
I am telling you this behind his back, because I have raised him and I know his behavior so very well.
Neither him nor me have the intension to be rude or be misunderstood at this site.
it is just by a chance that I bypassed his images and read your comment and his reply to you.
thank you again ,and please do accept my best wishes and regards.

Gary, you are uploading some very nice images, but why are you not using the full 850 pixels allowed? They could benefit from the extra size available. Maybe the maximum was increased without your awareness?

That's a rather nice colour chord you've struck there! It's almost the classical Van Gogh blue and yellow... I think you would enjoy what the Topaz "Adjust" filters do for digital camera images. Take advantage of their free trial. I have no connection with them other than as a satisfied user.

This gives a better idea of what the Ferris wheel actually looks like than my most recent effort. I love Ferris wheels as subjects
for photography. So many angles!

You misunderstand my comment (after five years, who could blame you?). I read your note about this being a statue, but my point was that the Greeks did not leave their statues as white marble, they actually painted faces and clothing on them! Rather like this Chinese figurine.

Hi Roger, took me five years to answer this but who's counting. This is not a painting, it's actually a ceramic figure (or maybe metal...I forget) about three feet tall.
