And I think you experimented well :-) It is hard to experiment with filters or effects and get a common liking. If you look around there is alot of experimenting going on and either people like it or they do not. In this case I very much like your picture and the title goes just perfect!

best of regards

Hi Janne! Different and good BW/Colour work. The contrast is good. I would crop out the top left and see the difference. brgds Morsi

Good Macro Safak. I like the composition which is unusual. It is good, but be careful where you are placing the bright part of the image as it is stealing where the eye is focusing..

Hi Luis! This is a brilliant shot; however: try cropping it to be more panoramic so you remove the dark area in the bottom. Ideally the persons should have been larger. It is simple and good and with a few modifications you can really make it great!

Hej Jytte! The composition of this image is brilliant and I agree with Armando. The framing is good, it support the abstrasm of the image. The colours are really good and capturing plants this way is unusual and most welcomed

Hi Claudia! We all love sunsets and sometimes it is hard to compose them nice cause u just want everything in it. The colours here are good, however the composition and emotional appeal of the picture need some working upon. Try cutting out the trees to the left and see what happens. I wanted to give you constructive opinion. brgds Mors

I agree! Nice, very nice MODEL )
The shot is great too. I agree with Charles that you need some fill in flash..
But then that might not have coincided with the project. Good work and beautiful model!
Or maybe more

Hi Josep,

I think it is a brilliant picture! However constructive criticism I find is hard to give you as you are not providing any detail as how you did this. It is obvious you have used PS or some other manipulation programme. In that case I feel the burning was just a bit too much. I agree with Jaap that you should remove the top grey bit, but that was originally a different colour or? Also maybe crop oout the bottom left bit. Try it out and see..
In any case the composition is brilliant and you have a VERY GOOD atmosphere to the shot. How did you do this in any case?

It is a good idea, dont misunderstand. Thus I chose to comment on it.

Okej Ale It is nice you have finished a project, but since you chose that one you have to take the comments you are going to get.. Instead of rating you I will choose to comment on your picture as constructively as I can.

Composition: Fairly good. Good setting however the horizon is very tilted..
Lighting: Bright, an ND filter would have helped you to increase the contrast
Originality : N/A
Emotional Appeal: It would fit nicely into a dating agency
Overall: Well, just below middle. It is a nice shot and even though the lighting is a bit off I think you have caught your self on film looking better than some of us :-)

Hi Kim,

Thx for your thoughts on one of my pics. I noticed you have an extraordinary wonderful portfolio. I am not really the biggest usefilm user, however I thought on fair to give you some honest thought about one of your lesser commented shots.
This is good, very sharp with great detail. Even for a 400 film. The composition is what I like most about this and especially for a macro it is very nicely layed out. However the water drops seem to artificial and placed on purpose. I agree that they might provide an extra 'something', but in this case the focus is all on them and not of the beads which by the title you wanted to present.
Best of regards
Morsi

Thx for your constructive comment and honest thoughts Kim. I agree with your points with regards to the ND filtering missing and the sky being to bright. However the point of focus is the reflection in the water making it hard for the eye to focus anywhere which is the idea. This shot is done with 35mm negative and with limited gear as I am in the middle of the nortwestern Norwegian wilderness, however an ND filter wouldn't have taken much space )
Thx again I appreciate your thoughts

Best of regards

Brilliant Janne! However if I may a constructive comment. Using the high white tone as here require to be picky with details and the right eye, eyelashes are standing out without showing the outline. Just a minor detail
best of regards Morsi

Welcome to usefilm by the way brgds Morsi
