you found perfect light, i like it when the sun peaks through like this, i see a twinkle in the eye of the sky.......
one thing you might try, is move closer to that large tree on the left making for a larger silhouette, it looks to have a great shape to it.....

the sureal look of the reflections are inspiring...

mud daubber nest are always neat finds, those big black wasp are actually quite docile and they like to feed on spiders......

..you sure about it being the moon, maybe the sun?....i like the composition, with the three boats and long washed out reflection....sorry, the only thing i know about night pics are long shutter speed and a tripod......good luck....
