Very good play with colours and background.

I think her head is somewhat over-tilted to the right.

Teunis, thanks foryour comment.

I am always seeking a way to emulate your vibrant colour ;-) - I think I (by underexposing half a stop) have more or less found a way to so do...

Great work, Teunis.

I am slightly less fond of this one than of much of your other work - the yellow pestle of the flower is swallowed by the yellow petals - making it less attractive.

Of course, it is the flower's fault...

As usual, your DOF is bloody amazing!

Thanks for the comment...

I did not want to process the shot (other than cropping it) - this is what my lens could do ;-)... But saturation is a good idea. I will underexpose by half a stop on the next one...

Thanks!

Amazing capture, the little girl with her slender wisps of hair and the threatening... what is it? Fire? Sun? Some force of nature...

Wonderful!

What a lovely portrait - the tied hair, the smile - you captured this young woman so perfectly.

Great job.

Ah, the usual Haveman beauty.

How do you find these perfect flowers? How do you photograph them?

You must write a book on flower macro photography...

Hi Teunis.

What an amazing level of detail - a shot wirthy of a Haveman ;-).

Your ability to bring out both colours and detail never cease to amaze me.
Composition is wonderous.

Ah, such flowers.

Now, one problem with the photograph - what about the scent? You forgot the scent ;-).

Thank you so much, Teunis. I am simply trying to emulate your colours in the picture ;-).

You produce such beautiful colours that I want to emulate them ;-).

Thanks for the example!

From the thumbnail, I thought it was an umbrella ;-) or a daffodil.

What beautiful waterYou have a wonderful eye, I really want to be there, near that waterball. Ah, how beautiful you make everything.

Amazing colours.

So very peaceful, so tranquil. One almost hears the surf's whisper.

Great work!

Thank you all. Indeed beautiful colours. It was amazing inside.

Naty - the bottom, in my opnion, somewhat anchors the colours...

Thanks for the comment, Tony.

Actually, I was looking for the multiple reflection to converge with the smoke from the smokestack - that is why I was shooting through a closed window.

As for more of the foreground, yes, I have quite a bit of THAT, cropped off in this version of the photo.

I will try posting another version with more foreground...

What is it? It looks like a shrimp-coloured mushroom raised in a cooking utensil - beautiful colours in an industrial format.

Quite a weird photo - I am not sure if it attracts or repulses... Weird...

A very atractive illustration/photograph.

it reqminds me of pictures by Beardley - those of the arthurian romances. Percival? One of the effeminate knights? Very intense effect.
