i don't really care if it's rust or sand or whatever,and i won't comment on the photoshop tools you applied on it,Lucy...what matters for me is the great effect this image has on my mind as it triggers certain memories and feelings ;-)

Hi Lucy, the colour tension you render here is just phantastic, very well seen. The asymmetric composition is ok, too, reminds of a fire and thus underline and enahnce the fire orange red. Very good abstract! best regards Jorg

is this rust? your images of what I presume to be rust looks more like blood which is unsettling, but I like the imagery! did you notice that this image looks like there is an impression of an ear of corn, complete with the shucks? certainly enjoy your textural pieces

ah rust!!!!!! My aunt and I keep collecting pieces of rust to some day use in a sculptural piece. Meanwhile, like you, I keep photographing the beautiful textures of rust!
