Please don't blame my partner, Beppe. I believe the foot is in the original. I made the print and liked the crop just below the garment. The feet were in shadow so I blew it off, but you have a good point. I will have to look for the negative, because you are not the first person to mention this oversight. I am glad you like the "angelic" feel of it.

I agree about the misuse of PS, and I guess I am a bit obsessive about the benefits - we just got PS Elements for our niece for Christmas and she loves it.
I have heard about Adobe Lightroom. Thanks for bringing it up. I sounds interesting.

I didn't mean to imply in earlier comments that I didn't like PhotoShop only that I sometimes grow weary of photos over-photoshopped in my opinion. Actually I see more of said photos on another site that has some of my photos www.modelmayhem.com Many retouch the models to the point their skin doesn't even have pores anymore. I do very much enjoy the new technologies they have helped make photography "fun" again. After over 3 decades in a "wet" darkroom it is refreshing to use Adobe Lightroom while I can watch TV and talk to people. I would never want to go back to spotting a print by hadn again! I just don't have the decades of experience with the new technologies so I am not that good with them yet, I don't know that I am obsessed with them enough to get that good.
Thanks for the advise on the photos. All the best, Jason

Hi, Jason. I am glad you like "It's me!" It was scanned from a print I did in my darkroom a "few" years ago with all the original dodging and burning.
I did not have to do much in PS, but I see things now that I probably would do -- maybe lighten some of the areas that got too dark in the dodging process.
Thanks for looking!

LMAO... yeah I know the nagging feeling...eh.. I used to call it mini lab factor.. they always crop off a bit all round the image so you have to step back one pace and take the shot from there so that you get it all in when you get the print.. mind you on second viewing I think the hint of nipples thru the dress makes up for the lack of feet... great body there ;-)

Dear Roger, thank you for such thought provoking comments. I guess I lost the feet for a reason - can't remember. It is my fault and not the photographer's, because I made the print and scanned it.
Now, you will have me looking for the negative. I am very critical of my own feet, because I use professional models when I do shoe photography. Enough to give a person a complex.
What a great lot of photos you have posted. I will be delving into those 73 pages for more gems.
Cheers, Leora

Thank you Srna, it was kind of a dream in my head and the photographer was able to capture it perfectly. I was thrilled with it and with him.

Thank you, Peter. I did feel very sensual in the beautiful garment, designed by a friend of mine, Bill Tice. It was a continuous piece of fabric that you could do anything with - it went around my ankle and over my head and the light came streaming through it just the way I wanted.
I was not aware of the halo at the time - that came later in the darkroom.
I appreciate your generous comment.

Dear Kambiz, I so agree with you that life should reflect the recognition and realization of what is going on in the rest of the world. And I very much admire the great teachers from history, especially the teaching of the golden rule. That is a good one to live by.
If people live in a bubble by choice - in this day and age - they may have to live with the consequences.
I appreciate your concern, Kambiz.

Wow! I love that new word, Alonso. Especially since the model is me - my friend took the picture using my camera. I wanted him to shoot into the sun - that is why it is so light at the top and he had to sacrifice my feet. Come to think of it, my feet - size 10 - would not have added anything.
But I appreciate your opinion. I admit to burning in the sky in PS which gives it the halo effect you are referring to. I should have taken more time to even out the highlight. Good observation. Maybe I should try again.
Your gaupisima friend, Leora
