Marty, no attempt is lame when you have fun doing it. I like the way you added those streaks, I thought my eyes were playing tricks, and then I remembered the erasure tool on that girls mustache I did. I hope she never saw it or read some of the comments!!! LOL. Thanks for having some fun with it.

Thanks pare, he was watching some ravens enjoying a dead deer and was thinking of dropping in on the feast. He had a good vantage point. I have watched this Eagle for a few years. He and his mate are in an area near the highway that has some very large power lines they perch on morning and night. I have seen them with their offspring, usually one, each year as they get them out flying with them. I track about a dozen pairs I know of in my area of travel.

It looks so majestic my dear Stan as it casts it's beady eyes about and no doubt has kept half an eye on your activities. Good details and lovely natural tones. Can't get close to any of these types of birds in my part of the UK. We get to see the odd minor hawks but never close up. Well done to you my good friend. Very best wishes.......Ray

Thanks Dave, these are hard to get close to so I was thrilled to have such a good opportunity. This one had a full 2 meter wing span when he flew off. A very nice mature bird.

Thanks Shirley, timing is everything. Right place, right time. Another drive by shooting so to speak. I saw this beauty, turned around and pulled up across from the Eagle. I was able to get several nice shots before he flew off. Was glad I had my telephoto with me.

This is not as dramatic as the tree full of Eagles but I was able to get a lot closer for the details on this one. There will be more Eagles to capture as the seasons change and they return in more numbers. Thanks Saad.
