About Well, I'm sat here barely able to move!! Every joint and muscle in my body is hurting (except the muscle that controls nostril flare!)

The church's over 40s guys have just played the under 40s at cricket ~ and I'm sure you'll have quickly worked out which side I was on!!

But, unbelievable as it may sound ? WE WON!!

Not only that but ? wait for it ? I hit the first straight six I have ever hit in my 48 years!! UNBELIEVABLE!!!!

But, don't worry! My bowling performance brought me well and truly back to earth!! My son got 9 runs off me in one terrible over, including two 4s!!

Anyway, to the picture?

Taken at Montacute House just after Carole and I had enjoyed a splendid cream tea from the fine little tea shop ~ apart from the fact that I spent most of the time looking like a demented windmill as I tried to keep the wasps off my jam!!

Hope you like the pic.

Best regards everyone,

Chris

Well, sounds like you're not ready for the rocking chair just yet! Sounds like you had one AWESOME day!

This image Chris is really nice, I am very much enjoying your daily jaunts!

Beautiful house, (it's hard to believe this is a HOUSE!!) It's amazing, and even after being a demented windmill, you came home and did another fantastic job on this!!

Very well done,
Lori :)

Hahaha, I know exactly what you are feeling Chris. Earlier this year we had a group of young Indian guys over, and thought it would be good to have the UK office play the Indian Office. I hadn't relised that almost the whole population of India are capable of playing for the national team. Though I did take 3 wickets and get 1 diving catch at mid on.

I like this image though, a dark brooding image, you could almost imagine something scary still hanging around behind those windows.

Good work.

Excellent all round ... and the photo isn't too bad either Chris ;-)
Next time the over 40's are playing let me know and I will make a special trip (was a member of 3 clubs and took the team to the top in Cyprus a few years ago) ... just don't tell your son ;-)

Nice one Chris, very moody, good balance between the sky and the nicely detailed house. I'm guessing it must have felt good to school the under fourties,

Regards,
Chris

great shot you gotta love those old buildings. You know Chris, we have some old house's where I live here in Duluth. I need to shoot a couple and let you see them, no thatching, but plenty of size and stories.
if the Sun ever shows again i'll shoot a couple.
