About I just come back home. Recently I have lived in 'Wolfsburg'... simply the name says much about this town, don\'t you think?
I love the shadows and the sunshines I captured in this Pic and the composition give me a feeling of energy.

Katia,

I understand exactly why you wanted to take this shot. I would love to see it redone - or messed with in PS - because I love it - I am tempted to remix it myself - with your permission of course - because I feel the magic that I think must have prompted you to take the shot.

Thibault is correct about the technical aspects - I wonder though would you lose the magic of the moment of that day?

Hi Reynaldo,
thanks for your comment.
I have to tell you that my lens doesn't have a problem (I hope!). It's the photo its self that had this light, I mean, the wolves were against the light.
Thanks for coming, anyway!

Happy 2003, Katia!

I like it but I think there is some light entering the camera, isnt it?

Beautiful!!

Thanks Thibault,
I think about your tecnical suggestions and I think you are right about the wider aperture. When I took this shot I just thought I wanted all details in it, and like a bad fotographer, I didn't think about the background.

What affascunated me was the contrast between the sunshine and shadows, and I'll try to use a lencehood next time.

About the curved lines, sorry, no idea how to evoid them!

I'd like too to work again on these wolves, but I should come back in this little italian-german village in Nidersachsen... I hope next sping.

I visit you portfolio and I like your work and sensibility very much (expecially "alone"!). Keep on!

Katia,

The idea of your photograph is nice, but some technical aspects of it annoys me :

- the background is not so nice and making the image a bit too complicated to read. You should try to play with the apertures and shoot wider open or take the shot with a longer focal lenght to reduce the depth of field.

- colors are washed out and contrast is low. I think this is due to unexpected flare. If you don't use a lenshood, then should try again with one that fits your zoom. Also filters especially low quality filters tend to increase flare a lot, be sure to remove them when shooting with the sun near the frame or onto the frame.

- some distortion on the pavement at the bottom of the image. (curved lines)

I think these wolves are definitely worth some other shots. You should try again with different angles of view, maybe getting a litle closer of the wolves with a wider angle would help increase the composition, good luck !
