About This picture has some meaning for me because it was the last photo of Coco, who belonged to my mum. I used my remote release and tripod, and blurred the edges in photoimpact.

A lovely picture, Sarah. I like the sunlit effect. I've enjoyed your shots of Coco. So sorry to hear she's gone.

Thanks for the comment Don.

You're right about the fill-flash. Coco had her back to a sunny window so hence, the shadow.
The foreground looks washed out because I used fade-out on the edges of the picture.

A little fill flash would have shown detail in the face of the dog. Foreground washed out. Looks like a great dog.
