Very nice tonal depth achieved here and I love the DOF. I also like the balance of lights and darks in the background. Razor sharp details and a really interesting composition. Reminds me of one of those toy mechanical sets my brothers used to build toy bridges with as kids except they didn't have those deadly looking spikes. Very strong and bold image Jim.

Uri... This was a color photo converted to B&W in PS. The background is original... what you're seeing is an out of focus hill, sky and clouds. The clouds providing the most prominent tonal difference. Personally I think if the background were more uniform perspective and overall impact of the image would be reduced.
