good composition Joe. The way the shore leads my eye into the photo is very effective. The only thing i could say is that it might be more dramatic during sunset or sunrise time. That way the shadows would be more apparent and the colors richer.

Very colorful landscape dear Joe. I always find you composition with full of details and very good exposures, and this one is no exception.
All the best,

Joe, Joe, Joe..... You wouldn't believe how many times I started to critique this image .... and NOW I see You've even left me a special space for it ..lol!!! Well..I was very tired yesterday, but bright and ready now :))
First I like the angle of your composition... shows the length of this concrete bridge without getting wet :) Next I was gonna say WOW!!! That bridge was made for flooding and all kinds of weather--
making me think the water does get very deep at times... I love that it is a 5 span arch (which is well seen) masonary, and historic bridge too !!! I Love history !!!
I like this image very much Joe- sorry it took me a while to get to commenting but never fear I do manage to make it sooner or later:))
7/7
Best wishes,
michele~

Thanks Robbie for all your comments. I saw the white water a little differently. To me the white water forms parallel lines in the direction of flow which actually lead your eye to the bridge. We all see things differently and I value your comments and view of the image.
All the best,
Joe

Thanks Meg. It no coincedence that this bridge looks like the bridges in your area as I am sure the bridge was likely built by craftsmen from the UK. I would love to visit your area sometime.
All the best,
Joe

Beautiful image Joe,lovely colors and point of view.imho I think you could improve this image by not composing with 'white'foamy ripples leading your eye out of the image but 7+++ none the less.
Take care
Robbie

Hi Joe,
Wonderful photo!! The receding arches on the bridge really draw the eye into the picture giving it a lot of depth. The pretty muted winter tones are a lovely foil for the sparkling crispness of the beautiful running water which mirrors the soft blue of the sky.
