Thanks a lot for the background info, Andras! I know how fast these beasts can be, Andras, and also that they really don't care much about the wishes of a photographer! Models in our days... ;-)
Still it is a great one that more than deserves the name "A macro".

Many thanks for the nice detailed comment Nick! It is true, that the background is not the bust, but I decided to show this image to the 'public' because it was somewhat hard for me to take because of the fact that there were about a hundred wasps on that tree. And the were really fresh and fast... Cheers Andras

This is a very good macro, Andras! The wasp stand in exactly the right place to be in that range of DoF that allows the spectator to see it in all its crispy clear glory! (And which is *the* hard part of a macro!) Even the small hairs are completely visible. A bit bad that that the background intervenes into the main subject a little bit, but only a little bit.
