Tim this is the first thing you will notice when u land in India, there are people everywhere. I remember during my first official trip to Santiago, the day I landed there was a monday, and right after cheking in to my hotel I decided to take a strol anong their hotel side walk. And I could see , 10 people which I found out was the normal people count there.
And then few months back my associate in Santiago came and visited Calcutta, and the first thing he said was "My god, look at all these people !!!" hehe !

It is funny the contrast of your photos to mine in some ways...mine have NO HUMANS...lol....and yours have countless beings quite often. I think all those people milling around would freak me out after a time. But then that is just a guess. At the same time i think all the fantastic colors would be such a feast for the eyes that maybe i wouldn't take as much notice of the lacking in personal space....haha...Maybe if you came here to Canada and felt the huge expansive spaces with no people sometimes at all for a large part of the day it might make you feel equally uneasy? I have to say these last few shots are real beauties
