About	Self portrait taken on the Big Mountain, Whitefish, Mont. I put the D1 on the snow about 50 feet from where I was at, set the timer, tripped the shutter, then boogied down to my location in the photo. Black Bear is the name of this particular ski run.

Oh man this is a great shot...I tried taking pictures last December on some of the Montana ski slopes and could not get anywhere near the sharpness amd color you have captured...great shot.
