Wow! Not just another fireworks photo - this almost looks like a composite of two different images. Is that the casing of the firework, or is it actually smoke? I don't know much about fireworks . . . I usually enjoy them from a distance, but I guess that's why I like this picture so much. I feel like I'm right inside the explosion. Superlatively cool!

awesome...glad you chose the shutter you did...it captured the red firework to look like a star...it really goes look like a galaxy, ESPECIALLY the top left. i'm impressed:)
