About	"Hot Stuff": Red Chili Pepper. This is my 03-Nov entry in my One Photo A Day project (www.pbase.com/thewizardrod) I decided to try some still life photography. This is just a close up photo of a red chili pepper. I have 2 versions. This is the 'stem down' version. I simply composed it next to window for side/back light. It was the only light source. As the chili pepper was kept in the refrig, natural condensation developed, giving the pepper a nice, uniform coating of water droplets (I felt this is better than just spraying the pepper with huge droplets). I filled the frame as much as I could. I picked this angle to give it a more 3D feel, with the shadow adding to that effect. Nikon Coolpix 4500 (aperture priority mode) Shutter: 1.2 sec Aperture: f/9.2 Focal Length: 13.8mm Distance: approx. 3 inches away White Balance: Daylight -1 Tripod was used Any advice is welcome. I'll post the "stem up" verson next time (as the look and feel are very different from this version). -- Rodney :)

agree with Antonio about the composition and colors. Don't agree about cooking preferences, too chilli :)
It's a very nice photograph, Rodney. What makes it more appealing to me is this combination of red, green and black (frame). Very neat work.
