About	I couldn't sleep and I was staying at the Novotel for the weekend..so I decided to look around for interesting objects to photograph instead. The nude shades and soft lines of the bedside lamp against the wall were so attractive i had to take this photo.

I think it is a very sexy image. The only thing I wish for is the reflection to go away. Very nice.

the mood created in this picture is peacful and relaxing. i agree with adam about the hot spots and the white dot. the crop is beautiful.

I really like images like this. So much like a painting yet not one. What really makes this one work is the cracks in the glaze of the lamp being so sharp, contrasting with the softness of the rest of the image. The white rim on the left side is fantastic.

Now, to make it better: The hot spots in the corner and on the right of the lamp are too distracting. They add to the photo, but maybe tone them down a bit. Also, the white spots should be cloned out.
