Wow Mark, this is an amazing series of photos. Via the lighting, detail and composition you clearly illustrate the events that took place at this institution. It does the impression that buildings absorb the energy what has previously transpired. Great work!

This is wonderful. Sonny may have a point. Would it have been o.k to have made the clarity off centre, to more over the door? It's a beautiful wall and it'd be a pity to lose its clarity though.

Another great shot, this time also with some geomethric lines (the pipes) that in my opinion give a special touch to the full image. Great tones and soft effect.

Thank you for your comment. This image was taken on neg film then scanned and opened in photoshop where I did a selection of dodging and burning. The Bluring in the image was applied with the gaussian blur filter. The intention of this is to accentuate the central part of the image and help retain the attention of the viewer to what I think is the most significant part of the image. Interesting that you find your self looking at the pipes above the door. I find them more as a continuation of the panels on the door and so tend to overlook them to a degree. I will post more images from this series I hope you get a chance to look at them.

Nice....good shadows, nice exposure, but for some reason my eyes keep resting on the intersection of the pipes at top middle rather than the door. Was some sort of bluring filter used for the periphery? Has a mild lens-baby effect, which really works well in this shot. Excellent Job!
