Built in 1933, it is patterned after Jury's in Ireland. There are two clocks over the main bar--one in EST, the other in Dublin time. All the furnishings and wall coverings are made of Oak. All the stained windows were hand made by an Oswego man, Scott Brennan. They all feature Celtic designs from "The Book of Kells". The original Book of Kells is in Trinity College, Dublin. The traffic light at the intersection at the entrance to Colman's is hung upside down, with the Green light on top to resemble the Irish flag.
