About of aka The Shining inspired by the movie of the Stephen King book of the same name. It wasnt quite the Overlook but those long corridors sure were a little spooky!

yes I quite like it is B&W. I wanted to set up a shot with a hint of a person at the end of the shot but the Boy was too busy!

You are right - I should have used a tripod but I was as usual rushing around after one of my sons at a w/e soccer tournament.
Light at the games was also poor - they played 2 under flood lights so soccer photos werent optimal either. I did get a few shots I am pleased with by the river and will post those next. Thanks as always for the observations!

Great perspective. There are many PS things you could do with this. I like it in BW..but you could alter the hues to give it a spookier feel, or the lighting. You could also try some of the blurs. I'm attaching a bw version just for the heck of it. I love it!

Gabrielle the idea is great and the colours impressive (not sure I'd want to live with them though!)

But I suspect it is suffering from some slight camera shake, which is slightly detracting for me.
