About ?of the photgrapher's wife ~ Part XX111!!

There were times on Tuesday when carole was around 400 meters or more ahead of me!! She's so patient ~ but it helps that she now has her own digital camera. She only took 48, but hey, that's better than none!!

Best regards to all and thanks for looking!

Lovely colours in the sky and the juxtaposition of the birds and your wife is excellent. I especially like the bird backlit by the bright cloud in the middle. Might I suggest a little tweaking of the levels in Photoshop would create a totally black silhouette, perhaps giving the image even more impact?

wow chris , a very striking photo. It is so wonderful that you have someone to cruise the shore with. A partner in film always makes the experience more fun for me too.!

Really nice Chris. (and I see that Carole is ahead of you, right where she should be...LOL)

Back to the pix, beautiful, love the deep colors, and I see your framing skills are back! It looks GREAT!
Lori ;)

ps...next time add more sandstone so others won't mistake it for noise! :)

Chris Spracklen   {K:32552} 2/11/2005
Thanks for the kind comment, Alastair.
Actually the 'noise' is a sandstone texture that I applied in Photoshop to help give the image a more 'arty' feel. Not easy to tell at this resolution.
Kind regards, Chris

Beautiful Chris... the colours are sublime! The only negative point I can see is that there seems to be a lot of noise? Other than that this is simply superb!
Well done!
