This shot was taken with an ordinary 18-70 lens focussing in at around its minimum distance of 1.2 feet, or 350 cm's.

It IS a beautiful example, isn't it! Now that I can take macros, I'll have to see what I can find in the way of flowers. (Macros are a lot harder than I thought but you inspire me to keep trying!)
