No it wasn't actually Roger. Deb said at camera classes and she thought that maybe you wanted to keep it under your hat. Sorry I know that the word Archibald was said and I guess that is just what I remembered, but good luck anyway!

OH ! i spose roger told everybody?... thats all right , i never said i didn't want to not publise it i just told him to not broadcast it at cc that night, as i had just found out myself...... I HAVE TOLD EVERYBODY...... it's very very exciting, and may never happen again, so i'm riding the moment..........kekekkeek..............and it's not the archibald, thats paintings, it's the Australian Portrait Prize, run in conjunction with the archibald.......anyway, there's is no way in hell i 'll win it, but to just have my work hung at the NSW Art Gallery is HUGE enough for me.... can't wait to go down there and be at the Archibald announcment.... thats a big buzz for me.....should be picking my photo up today actually, then have to race it down to sydney....
thanks amanda, but no need to cross everything, i feel i have won enough just by makeing the finalists, and being hung.......
cheers

It is very differnt in a studio and I absolutely loved developing the photos myself. It was awesome just watching the photo appear before my eyes, knowing that I did it from start to finish was a real buzz! By the way when I was told, and said it wasn't to be common knowledge, so I didn't know if I was meant to know or not, but anyway I do and I wanted to congratulate you on having your photo, 'Trapped' in the Archibald. That is just brilliant and I wish you all the very best. I will have my fingers and toes crossed for you!

Very nice and different father/daughter portrait. I also like the frame - it suits the picture very well.

Thank you for commenting my photo of the Eiffel tower!
