About Another guided photo taken during the Perseid meteor shower on August 11, 2004. This is a digital stacking of 5 exposures (exposures of between 5-10 min each). It shows four Perseid meteors, including a nice colorful one scooting right beside Polaris!

Thanks for commenting Taras! That's usually the way it goes. Takes good luck to capture a nice meteor, even during a major shower like the Perseids. I went through so much film over the years with only star trails on them, but when a bright meteor shows it makes it all worth it!

Pierre,

I think I have captured more meteors on film when I am not trying to intentially image them during a shower. Nice work.
