Janice, it reminds me something of fireworks--the pretty pink explosion coming out of the dark green. Lovely. Mary

Thanks Lisa - too funny about taking the camera with you - today was the first time that I went out (in this milder temperature of under 100 degrees today) for the express purpose of taking pictures! Wouldn't chance taking it with me all the time during this time of year, as there is no way I could leave it in the car. Rob said I would, and I really do like this new camera - Ellen Smith commented recently that we might be dangerous once we learn how to work the camera the way it is suppose to be worked. Hmmm, seems to me someone else said that same thing. Lisa - you just keep shooting wonderful shots like you have been - BUT more would be good!

Thanks Ellen - I did post some pale coral oleanders when I first became a member of usefilm. These flowers have a very different shape than ours had. I must admit that I really do like this shot and will probably have it enlarged and framed...just something about it that appeals to me. Go figure...I know, I'll add it to my quilt too. :-)

Thanks Sam - this grouping grabbed my eye and this shot just sort of jumped out of the bush and onto my CF. The pink blooms are so much prettier than the pale creamy salmon color oleanders that we used to have.

Very nice. Love the colors and the dark greens in the b/g. I've never seen an oleander bush. These are fantastic.

Simply Beautiful! The open flower with the lighter pink and the closed buds in the deeper pinks looks fantastic. I just noticed you're working with a newer camera. Your shots really come to life. I really need to start taking my camera with me everywhere I go so I can get great images like this. I guess you never know what you may stumble across.

Great capture Mom. I Like the way this shot flows, The Combination of the open flowers, the closed buds and lighting on the leaves is superb. I really like the crop, it frams this shot superbly. Congrats on this one! Sam III
