About All of the different straight and curves angles going out in all directions caught my eye, and the soft fern-like leaves of this plant makes an interesting contrast to the stick like branches and stems of the blossom. When I saw this upload the phrase "Oh what a tangled web we weave" came immediately to mind. Hence the title.

Thanks Mary - If this does what it is suppose to, I have attached a shot that shows how the blossoms normally grow on their bush. Jan

Tried to do some different cropping - and it seemed to focus too much on the strong diagonal lines of those branches. I will continue to play. Thanks for the suggestions Susie. Jan

Hi Jan,
You know, the only thing I would try is to clone out those little red blossoms on the top r and l. I like the space on the r and l sides, and you definitely wouldn't want to crop down the beautiful fern. I really like the activity in this photo. It's so open that it isn't overwhelming. Anyway, just my 2 cents. Have a great weekend!

I'm not sure Ellen, but I know my camera has a bulb setting, and I believe mine requires a remote control timer gadget to work the shutter. Lots of luck - I have faith! Jan

I went out last night and just watched them. I saw a few maybe 6-7 I need to get more camera time in first I think. I need to dig in and figure out how the timer works, bulb setting, so I can leave it open for a long time. You'll be the first to know if I get one, a star that is.

Not yet Ellen, but I will. Got any thing from the meteor shower yet? Or is that a tonight "to do"?

Susie - is it too busy? I know I could have cropped so that the focus was on the blossoms - but just couldn't figure out how to do it and keep the same feeling. Should I play with it some more so that there isn't quite as much to look at? Jan

There is so much to look at in this photo. Very airy and light. Love the colors and the b/g. Nice job.
