For sure Don - isn't it amazing how not one is a carbon copy of another and the arms all grow differently?

I think you are right Don. I do know that they sure are costly to buy when they are this mature. These were planted in about 1993. The old Police Department Building opened in Dec. 1989, City Hall Administration in Feb. 1991, Council Chamber and Library in 1993. New Police and Fire Department Administration Bldg. opened in 2003, and the City is in the design phase of another building to be built on the 40 acre complex that will house Community Development. Peoria has grown so fast that sardines in a can have more room to move around than do the City employees. Jan

Thanks Mary - I'm with you kiddo, the tree behind the saguaro (mesquite or Palo Verde - can't remember which is which) does look like a peacock tail or fan.

The trees sure like the cactus, ;-) It seems like the one is watching over it and the one behind is providing rays, sort of like a peacock fan. Oh, I bet that sounds a little wierd. Mary
