Safety or scary - probably depends on which side of the fence you find yourself.

Thanks for your attempt to educate us regarding scatology, Ernie. You must admit, though, this is really a 'crappy' photograph.

Well done, Gabriel. Very good feel with the lighting, and excellent attention to detail with the reflection.

I am curious - were you holding the camera in your other hand, or did you use a tripod? Or, perhaps it's not even your hand in the picture?

Anyway, as I said, well done - this is a very HANDsom photo.

Thanks for the comment, Kara.

I'll have to be honest here and tell you that I know next to nothing about horses. I'm not sure what the difference is between a halter and a bridle in terms of purpose. All I do know is that she was getting hitched up to a little buggy to pull us around, and it made for good photos!

Thanks again,
Jason.

Excellent composition, Kara. I like the placement of the chipmunk, and the balance created by the pink petals on the other side. I also like the contrasting textures of the asphalt and cement with Chippy and his flowers.

I agree with Gayle that there is a bit too much blur. It almost seems like this was a larger photo that you've cropped, resulting in a loss of resolution. If that is the case, it's deffinately a good choice of crop, and just too bad about the blur. Still a good photo, though, for sure.

Hello again Michele. I had some time to work on the foreground a little more. What do you think of it now?

Thanks for commenting on my photo, Shelby. A new day of beginning for sure - as long as it begins with a hot coffee or tea - it was pretty cool that morning.

Nice view you've captured Doyle. I really like the pastel colours of the sky, and the warmth created by the angle of the sunlight hitting the rock face.

Hi Michele. I've seen your cool photo - it's what reminded me that I had this one stored on my computer from a little while ago. I decided to PS it a little and post it. Take a look at the original:

Thanks for the critique, Michele. I agree regarding the foreground, I would have liked it to be more visible as well. I did lighten it a bit from the original, but too much more and noise would have been a problem, ruining the softness of the image. It is a country lane, or a driveway, more precisely.

I really like this view of the bridge, Marlyce. I think the tips of the tree branches in the foreground make this an interesting point of view and perspective of the structure. And extra points to you for standing on a stump on one leg to get this - that would have been a picture worth seeing for sure!

Sometimes the light at the end of the tunnel is a train, but sometimes it's just a mini-van.

Interesting photo, Michele. I think it would be even better with a longer tunnel (not in your control, of course.) I say that because to my eye the light entering the back of the tunnel, behind the vehicle, takes away from the effect of this picture. Good idea for a photo though, and well done with the tunnel you had to work with.

Thanks, Marlyce. I hadn't noticed the trees that way before, but they do form a bit of a 'caravan,' don't they?

This is well done, Sylvia. I really like the composition of this photo, from the framing to the set-up.

I like how you've framed the top left corner with the window framing. Was this how you shot it originally, or did you crop it afterwards?

I also like the placement of the objects within the picture. Nice touch with the salt shaker lying down, the partially cut carrot, etc. Makes the photo seem a little less set-up, and more like someone was actually in the process of preparing a meal.

Hi Sylvia, nice capture of this quiet moment. I've only ever met two greyhounds, and half of them were named Chase. I'm thinking this might be a common name for the breed?
