Very Cool image, it would be a perfect background for a Fashion shoot.

She was standing on the shaded side of the building, so I lit it with an on Camera Flash on Hi Speed Sync so that it would match the back light. On a few of the shots I bounced the light off the ground but the Cement absorbed a lot of the light.

I'd really love to see the origional Image, but this is beautiful. Perhaps if you were to soften and selectively desaturate the color image it would come out better?

Great contrast between old and young. Perhaps if it was shot with a telephoto the size discrepency would have been elimintated adding more power to the image

Great job.

I think that the image is well put together, but a bit of advice for photoshoping is to use the sharpen tool a lot less. It's very obviouse that you oversharpened. When you do sharpen you should always start by viewing the image as "actual pixels" on a mac it is Comand, shift, 0 . I don't know what it is on Windows.

Wonderfull image, I truely like it. I do think that if the person was a bit closer and framed by the street instead of the houses the image would be of Nat Geo Quality. But that's my oppinion.

Incredible. An effect that a "quality" camera could never achieve.

I love the lighting, the color is great, and it is exquisitly exposed. Beautifull image.

Excelent siluette, also, venry nice rendition of the rule of thirds and great balance. This image works perfectly as far as I am concerned! Great Job.

I bought some cheap slide dupe maker off the internet for 60 bucks, it screws on the front of the lens and has a little slide holder. Some times it comes out OK, but generaly it is junk.

Superb capture, I am impressid with the angle. You must have been on a hill or somthing. But one thing is bothering me, and it's not about the photo, I believe that this is a hawk. Buzzards are ugly and this is Beautiful.

This should be an advert for the Olympus! Great color, saturation, contrast, and very smooth image, I can't see any grain! Very nice.

Great use of Natural lighting, and I can see a little tungsten light was hitting the trees. These images are extremely hard to get with digital due to the heating up of the sensor. A great argument for the use of film!

All of your photo's are absolutly stunning! I'd say it's the best portfolio I've seen on this site yet. I take it you either live in africa or visit often. Check out my website www.benhorton.biz I've got some shots in there from Africa that you may like.

Yeah i landed OK. we measured the distance I went to about 80+ feet. The next year I went back and did the same jump though not quite as far, maybee 60 feet. And landed in a treewell. I tore my ACL halfway through which is extreemly rare, to do. Most of the time the tear goes all the way through. Then had to ride all the way back out in extreme pain. But two weeks later I was in Alaska thanks to the best knee therapy clinic in the world!

This is a great image, I would say that you should crop out the base of the tree though. That would give it a less orcistrated feel.

Very Interesting shot, it gave me an Idea that you may find apealing. Shoot two forks, a big and a little one, and title it Spooning. It's probably not going to win a prize but hey, it could come out interesting!

Jim, these are the Chugach moutnains just outside of Anchorage Alaska. There are over 1000 square miles of these mountains. It's looks more like a sea than a range. I shot it last winter when I was Heli-Boarding. This was taken on our last run just as the sun was setting. If you ever get the chance, GO!

This is INCREDIBLE! Very nice work. How many tries did it take you?

P.s. this is why digital is so cool. We KNOW when we get the shot!

I really like this image, but did you perhaps use a bit to much of the Unsharp Mask filter in PS? the birds tail seems to have a halo around it. But still, it is an excelent image. I looked through most of your portfolio and i must say , I can see how much you improved from your first images to the last. Keep up the good work.
