Sorry for not commenting sooner, I missed this shot... I like the interesting way you set up the foreground for this shot. And the sky color is relatively dark. Nice work.
As for "these shots were much better than my astrophotography", they ARE your astrophotography! If I get a keeper for every 12 exposures I take, I'm happy. If I get more than one keeper on a roll of film, then I know I made a mistake someplace...

Very nice! I like this shot better than many other star-trail photos I've seen because the three trees in the foreground are so nicely composed, and provide a point of interest beyond the stars themselves. Good work!

I would like the round plate cropped out of the image as i think that is distracts from the straight lines of the vase and the gentle curves of the stems.

This is very interesting. I really like the composition with the leaves framing the subject. Great detail also. Is that the moon? I went back and read the project, but was a bit confused about it. Regardless, cool picture!

Very nice! I can't make up my mind about this, but--if it were mine--I might crop a little differently to eliminate the tree or rock on the far right (see example below). It's exquisite either way..
