Ryan - good grind. So how come you hate your scanner?

This is a terrific BMX photo. The use of the super wide angle lens is certainly the way to go in this type of photography for dramatic effect. I am a big fan of BMX and BMX photography. Keep posting them.

I like the off-centered compostion. It to me is much more interesting than a straight on full portrait. And it fulfills the classic rule of thirds. Well done!

Henry - another great skateboarding photo. The use of the super wide angle and moving up as close to possible to the skater is certainly the way to go. It has been my goal to obtain a 14 or 16 mm for such photography. Thanks for showing me how it is worth it.

On numerous visits to Washington DC over the years I always marveled at the Metro stations. You have captured what I couldn't describe. Good job.

You certainly did succeed in creating the mood of being alone. Very good character study.

Going through your photos - the best yet. The power and energy of rock shows through.

Another good one. I like concert photography. Very difficult sometimes but worth it.

A quick grab shot - worked out well. The reflections and the shadow of his hand add to the moment. Good photo!

High key is tough but this one is good. I did some mime photography and the mime makeup on the face helps for good high key. I like the placement of this portrait in the frame.

This is a good one. I always think horses are most beautiful when they are in motion. You show the motion well.

Steve - this is a good character study and Royal Gold is a better film than it is given credit for. My only comment would be to clean up some of the dust spots. Keep posting.

This is an absolutely great shot. It shows the power of photography to stop action and tell a story - even a simple one of a dog and a ball. Very good.

Are you soaring? I did that years ago. Not a feeling like it in the world. The look on your face says it all.

Actually the depth of field is not too bad from that close of a distance. I have always likeed close-up photos of familiar objects. And Ryan - I left an answer for your question on the comment you left for me. Thank you.

Good colors Jim - I've been using Sensia on and off and it's a good film. Post some more Yosemite photos on here.

The Flatiron building continues to draw. On visits to New York I have spent much time walking around it for just the right shot. This is a good one. Nice shot.

Nice night shot. The lack of human activity almost makes it look like a set.
