Not sure why as of yet, but I really like this. The DOF is really nice, and the sharpness of the main subject is excellent. Tonality does it.

Kevin, this is gorgeous....thanks for your kind comments on my photo. This brings back fond memories of Nashua for me....I use to travel there regularly on business in the mid-late 1980's, and miss the incredible scenery in your area. Use to ski up at Franconia Notch every chance I got!

Lennart, What type of scanner do you use? The details in the shadows here are magnificent. Composition is 1st Rate. You get a Boo-Yah from down Minneosta way for this!

Very stark and moving image....my eye was really drawn to this. Nice technique with the CP, just enough. Might have been nice to see how this looks lit by fill flash at sunset?

Only suggestion I can make here would have been to use some type of color graduated filter over the sky portion....very nice scene, sharp, vibrant, eye catching.
